I don’t think technology has improved since this driver. Tried these irons on a simulator – they improved my 7 iron length by 25 yards and also showed themselves to be very forgiving due to the “cup-face” technology in the head design. I just recently got my father into one with a senior shaft and he loves it to.

Hearing that the “Tour” model of the Mactech NVG2 driver was even b etter and a lot longer and straighter, I order it on ebay. I hit it at golfsmith on their machine and my spin rate was nearly half of any other driver I tried.

Golf club has been played less than 10 rounds and is in top of the line used condition. I don’t buy into alot of marketing hype, but I am significantly longer with this driver as stated above.
Due to my flawed swing, I play all my shots toward the toe. The noise was a little loud, but coming from an FT3, I suppose anything sounds loud!

Very good feel and sound, with a penetrating flight. This did carry on to the golf course. Thanks to the ever-decreasing length of the product cycle in the golf business, MacGregor launched two new versions of the driver this January. This club blew those out of the water. This mactex no longer an issue. Two – Had a dull sound when hitting the ball. They have great feel with an outstanding dispersion pattern.
