I set the Wi-Fi sleep policy to Never, to keep it always on, I installed a few very popular apps from the Market and used the phone normally. For some reason the WiFi drivers get corrupt and a reset fixes this every time. I think this problem has been related here before. I tried it with a different access point and it was the same.
